I grew up in Texas on a cattle ranch near Amarillo. Later, as a teenager, I traveled the highways and byways of the US getting a feel for the country, its people and learning about myself.
I actually intended to be a priest as a young man. But the scientist in me sent me soul searching. I remain spiritual but more rounded as it were.
I have been in business for myself for many years owning five restaurants and a number of other businesses. None of that is quite 'me' though. I'm a flibber de gibbet!
I love to read. I live for movies and I cannot pass up on an art gallery or a museum. I'm also something of a social butterfly. I spend a lot of time with my friends. Travel is in my blood and I'm always up for the next adventure down the road.
My dad was a Redwing test pilot and my mother was a professional dancer. It makes for a wild combo. As for myself, I still develop new business ventures. I also freelance as a bartender here and there. It's fun! You meet a lot of really interesting drunk people.
I look up to the full moon and I chase the sunrise. It seems like a path to me.
